Menopause After Dark is a music-driven short film following a high-functioning woman as her carefully managed life begins to unravel under the unpredictable realities of menopause. Set against a stylized 90s hip-hop aesthetic, the film blends humor, physical comedy, and sharp observation — navigating hot flashes, mood swings, anxiety, and an overwhelming flood of modern "solutions."
What begins in chaos moves toward clarity: there is no quick fix. Only acceptance, and a new kind of strength.
Written, produced & performed by SAG-AFTRA actor and creator Audrey Walters. Directed by Rebekah Wiggins. A Quick Wit Studios production. Currently in post-production.

She always knew she was adopted. What she couldn't know was whether the truth would break her.
When a DNA test leads Audrey to a biological family she never knew, the hardest part isn't the discovery. It's the timing. Both biological parents are already gone. What remains are relatives, records, and a portrait of two people she'll never get to meet. As the search unravels secrets of the past, traumatic events emerge that bond a mother and daughter who never got to meet face to face.
BIOLOGICAL is a vertical true story series currently in preproduction. A multi-generational drama at the intersection of DNA discovery, women, secrets, survival, and generational trauma. This Is Us meets Fleabag meets 23andMe.
